Emperor of Russia until his assassination in 1881 (born 1818), who also served as the King of Poland and the Grand Duke of Finland; became known as Alexander the Liberator for his emancipation of Russia’s serfs in 1861. Untranslated manuscript DS in Russian, signed “Aleksandr,” one page both sides, 8.75″ x 13.75″, 1886. Signed boldly at the conclusion by Alexander. The document is affixed to a slightly larger mount. In fine condition, with a vertical fold near the left edge.
