Description
American general (1860-1948) remembered as the commander of the American Expeditionary Force on the Western Front in World War I. Vintage matte-finish 7.5 x 9.75 photo of Pershing in his four-star military uniform, inscribed in a secretarial hand, “For Peekskill Post, American Legion, with cordial good wishes,” and signed below in fountain pen, “John J. Pershing.”
