Puccini pens a line from Cavaradossi’s aria (‘E lucevan le stelle’) in the third act of Tosca. In fine condition, with light toning to the right edge. A sought-after musical quote from one of Puccini’s most famous and creative works, which premiered at the Teatro Costanzi in Rome on January 14, 1900. Since that time, the dramatic force of Tosca has continued to captivate performers and audiences around the world.
