As governor of Virginia, Monroe grants a “certain Tract or Parcel of Land, containing Two hundred Acres.” Neatly signed at the conclusion by Governor Monroe. The white paper seal affixed to the lower left remains intact. Nicely double-matted and framed with a portrait to an overall size of 27″ x 19.75″.
